Duke and Grizz

Grizz

Grizz, a gray tabby, was my first cat, and he came into our lives when I was a kindergartener. From that moment, Grizz and I were inseperable friends. Duke came into our lives a little later, as a kitten born in my closet. He was a beautiful siamese, with a quirky kink in his tail, and no shortage of goofy character traits. Duke passed suddenly when I was only 11 years old. Grizz lived a long ripe life, until he had a stroke when I was a senior in high school. He bravely hung on for quite awhile, but we finally had to let him go. I will always remember the comfort that they each gave me, and their companionship that only an animal could provide. They will always hold a special place in my heart.

Our Heroes and Pals Until the End

“The one best place to bury a good dog is in the heart of his master.”

Shadow and Sugar brought emotional healing, courage , strength and encouragement to our daughter, Ashley, as she battled and overcame cancer in 1987. She was 14 at the time. God brought these two wonderful dogs into our lives at different but the right time.

IN LOVING MEMORY

Jessica “Jesse” Pardo
April 18, 2003 – July 3, 2003
Our Puppy

A bright new little life came to us bringing happiness, love and joy. Tragically taken in mere minutes, our joy turned to profound sorrow. While playing happily in the morning Jesse suddenly suffered a ruptured pulmonary aneurysm, a condition no one could have known or even thought of.

Despite rapid and heroic measures to save her life Jesse died in the arms of those who loved her so much. She was buried on a beautiful knoll overlooking green pastures. Her time on earth was short, but she will always be remembered as the playful loving puppy she was and for the joy she brought to those who loved her.
