Jeffery : The July 2011 Success Story

Jeffery

On June 6, 2011 a red tabby kitten was brought to Fuzzy Friends Rescue. The tabby was a beautiful little boy who was very sweet and loving, but something was wrong. His right under arm had been ripped open, exposing his muscle and tissue.

The kitten, which was named Jeffery, was taken to a local veterinary clinic. Jeffery was put on antibiotics and his wound was left open to allow it to heal shut properly on its own. It was truly amazing to watch him heal. He never stopped purring whenever someone held him and his wound seemed to magically disappear.

Jeffery is all healed up and living the good life these days with his new family. The once gaping wound under his arm is now hardly a scratch. Jeffery was very lucky that FFR has such wonderful supporters, without whom, we would not have been able to take in and treat him.
