Surrendering an Animal

As a no-kill rescue, we can only take an animal if we have room. We never euthanize and animal to make room for another. If we are unable to take your animal, we will give you some suggestions and possible alternatives for placing your animal.

If you would like to send information to animal intake on an animal you would like to surrender, please complete the form below. You can email the form to FFR1@SBCGLOBAL.NET OR you can fax the form to 254.754.9959. Please identify the type/breed of animal in the subject line of your email. For example, adult female Labrador, Poodle mix puppy, 4 year old male orange Tabby.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the large volume of requests we receive, we will only be able to contact you IF WE HAVE A CAGE of the appropriate size AVAILABLE or if we require additional information.

If you have not received a response within 48 hours, you can go to www.petfinder.com for a listing of of other rescues/shelters.

Since Fuzzy Friends is a no-kill shelter, space is limited. Please call first to make sure that we have room for the animal that you are needing to surrender. It breaks our heart to turn anyone away, but it is simply not possible to make any exceptions. Please call us at (254) 754-9444 to check on our space status.

Litter up to 4 animals = $50
Litter 5 or more animals = $65

Individual Animal = $35
Litter up to 4 animals = $35
Litter 5 or more animals = $50
