Surrendering an Animal

Fuzzy Friends Rescue is a no-kill rescue, and we never euthanize an animal to make room for another.   Due to the high volume of surrender requests that we receive daily, we are ONLY able to accept animals as kennel space allows, and we have all required information.  If you would like to send information on an animal you would like to surrender, please complete the form below.

A photo is also REQUIRED with your surrender application.  Please send a seperate photo to

10/4/2018: We are unable to take ANY cats or kittens at this time except for returned adoptions (cats or kittens previously adopted from Fuzzy Friends Rescue). Intake for felines is expected to reopen sometime before the end of the year.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to insurance restrictions, our rescue cannot accept Akitas, American Bulldogs, Chow Chows, Pit Bulls/Staffordshire Terriers, Rottweilers, and Wolf Hybrids (Wolfdogs).

If you have not received a response within two business days, please refer to the list below for further assistance in placing the animals with another rescue/shelter. (Lost and Found Pets)

If you have found a feral, stray cats or kittens please contact Comm C.A.T. of Greater Waco (was Heart of Texas Feral Friends).  Find more information about the spay/neuter and release program.
Since Fuzzy Friends is a no-kill rescue, space is limited.  Please contact us first to make sure that we have kennel space for the animal that you are needing to surrender.  It breaks our heart to turn anyone away, but it is simply not possible to make any exceptions.  If you have any questions about the animal surrender process, please call us at (254) 754-9444.
